Job Description for Technical Furniture Customer Services Support

Position Title: Customer Services Technical Support Furniture

Location: [Claremont Cape Town]

**Job Type**: [Full-Time]

Overview: We are seeking a resolute and knowledgeable Technical Furniture Customer Services Support representative to join our team. This role involves assisting customers with inquiries related to our range of flat pack furniture products, troubleshooting issues, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction. The role is to support our South Africa team in training and support of product related queries. The role will require international travel to the UK a minimum of twice a year.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to queries from within the SA team supporting their query and knowledge with regard to customer queries and support.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for product functionality and assembly to both internal team members and customers.
- Complete internal training for team members on building and use of technical documents.
- Collaborate with the UK technical team to resolve complex customer issues.
- Review trending faults and work closely with the UK Quality and Technical Manager to raise product improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and feedback.
- Educate team members on product features and best practices for use and build.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
- To support with the upkeep of the office with a hands on experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in furniture or technical products.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Proficient in using customer service software and tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
- A passion for customer satisfaction and problem-solving.
- Previous experience of building flatpack furniture would be an advantage.
- Zendesk experience would also be an advantage but not necessary.
