**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Infrastructure, Data & Security to lead and scale our critical technology foundations. Reporting to the VP Engineering, you will be responsible for the strategy, implementation, and operation of all infrastructure, monitoring, data management, and security initiatives. You will lead both the Infrastructure and Security teams, ensuring a robust, scalable, and secure platform to support our growing business and protect sensitive data.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and mentor the Infrastructure and Security teams.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure and security roadmap
- Manage cloud infrastructure cost to improve gross margin
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure.
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and security through robust data governance and backup/recovery strategies.
- Champion security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Manage budgets, vendors, and projects related to infrastructure, data, and security.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to our systems and data.

**Experience**:

- **10+ years** of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with at least **5+ years** in a leadership role managing infrastructure and/or security teams.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP - **AWS preferred** given maritime industry adoption).
- Experience with database administration and data warehousing solutions.
- Experience with DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Experience with budget management and vendor negotiation.
- Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR) is highly desirable.

**Technical Skills**:

- **Strong understanding of**: Networking, servers, virtualization, storage, and cloud technologies.
- **Proficiency with**: Linux and/or Windows server administration.
- **Experience with**: Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- **Familiarity with**: Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- **Knowledge of**: Security tools and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, SIEM).
- **Data Management**: Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
