Are you a tech-savvy professional with a knack for problem-solving? GAAP Point of Sale is on the lookout for a dedicated Infrastructure Monitoring & Support Specialist to join our vibrant team in the heart of Cape Town.

**About The Role**:
As an Infrastructure Monitoring & Support Specialist, you'll be the backbone of our operations, offering essential monitoring and support across our company. You'll tackle challenges head-on, providing remote server, network, and desktop support, ensuring our business runs smoothly day in and day out.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor, analyze, and resolve user requests through a ticketing system with efficiency and professionalism.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot IT technical issues, delivering solutions through various communication channels.
- Conduct active monitoring of Network, Firewalls, UPS's, Servers and Lines with keen analytical skills.
- Manage queries regarding router Sim cards allocation to clients and sites.
- Perform data checks, investigations, and assist in setting up VPN and VoIP connections.
- Utilize IT knowledge bases and team collaboration for independent troubleshooting.
- Recommend system, hardware, and software enhancements to optimize organizational infrastructure.
- Conduct daily inspections of office generators, cyber security dashboards, solar installations, and Zabbix Dashboards.

**What You Need to Succeed**:

- 2 - 5 years of IT experience with a penchant for Linux systems.
- Demonstrated analytical prowess and problem-solving capabilities.
- A self-starter attitude with an appetite for learning new technologies swiftly.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work independently and in rotational shifts.
