**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Leads the development and driving of a clear generative AI strategy aligned with the organization's vision and business goals.
- Identifies opportunities for generative AI and innovation across various departments and functions.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams, including I&T, TIS, GBS, and other business or project teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration on digital initiatives.
- Leads the implementation of generative AI technologies, tools, and platforms to drive operational efficiency and enhance customer experience.
- Ensures seamless integration of new AI technologies with existing systems and processes.
- Develops change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during generative AI initiatives.
- Provides leadership and guidance to ensure employees embrace and adopt new AI technologies and practices.
- Evaluates existing business processes and identifies opportunities for optimization, automation, and standardization using generative AI.
- Leads process improvement efforts to drive efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization using generative AI.
- Utilizes data analytics and insights to make informed decisions and measure the impact of generative AI initiatives.
- Collaborates with external partners, vendors, and solution providers to leverage their expertise and resources for successful generative AI implementation.
- Oversees training programs to upskill employees in using new AI technologies, tools, and processes effectively.
- Identifies and addresses potential risks associated with generative AI initiatives, including data security and compliance.
- Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of generative AI efforts.
- Regularly reports progress to executive/senior leadership and stakeholders.
**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**:
- Demonstrates strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals
- Possesses excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Has a strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Has a strong understanding of change management principles and practices, with the ability to effectively manage transitions and drive adoption of new technologies and processes
**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Certifications in relevant areas, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Digital Transformation Professional (CDTP), are advantageous
- ITIL Foundation (minimum) or higher
- SIAM - Service Integration and Management Foundation would be advantageous
**Required Experience**:
- Significant proven experience in a similar role within a global Information Technology organisation
- Significant proven experience in facilitating digital transformation initiatives, technology adoption, or change management within an Information Technology environment
