**JOB SCOPE**

As our **Digital Transformation Manager**, you will lead the identification, research, and implementation of technological trends to enable AMANDLA’s product portfolio. This role requires engagement with business stakeholders and technical teams, driving digital solutions that support social ventures and infrastructure projects. Your key responsibilities include:

- **Digital Strategy Development**: Shape and execute AMANDLA's global Digital strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- **Product Management & Development**: Develop, manage, and scale AMANDLA's digital solutions to support our Safe-Hub ecosystem, social ventures and operational efficiency.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Act as the primary point of contact for third-party suppliers, development teams, and internal stakeholders.
- **Contractor Leadership**: Engage, manage, and lead external contractors to ensure the successful delivery of digital projects.
- **Innovation Funding**: Collaborate with the Partnerships team to identify and secure funding opportunities for digital initiatives.
- **Hands-On Development**: Participate in full-stack development activities, bringing hands-on experience in coding and technical problem-solving.
- **Technology Trends**: Keep cross-functional teams informed about emerging technologies and their potential impact.
- **Data-Driven Insights**: Implement data analytics and AI-driven approaches to enhance decision-making and program impact.
- **Integration & Scalability**: Ensure seamless integration of digital solutions across AMANDLA’s ecosystem, with a focus on sustainability and adaptability

**CORE COMPETENCIES, ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS and PREFERENCES**

**Education/Equivalent**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science or similar

**Experience/Skills**
- At least 5 -8 years of experience in digital development, ideally in a managerial position.
- Proven track record in successfully managing and delivering digital transformation projects.

Strong technical expertise in:

- Digital platforms, infrastructure technology, and hybrid environments.
- Cloud services (Microsoft Azure, AWS, etc.), virtualization, and security.
- Full-stack development experience (React, Angular, Node.js, etc.).
- Agile methodologies, project management tools, and business analysis.
- Database creation, management, and data analytics solutions.
- Experience in developing user-centric digital tools and driving adoption within diverse communities.
- Ability to align digital initiatives with AMANDLA’s mission of youth empowerment and systemic impact. Experience in using design tools such as Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs
- Excellent communication, project management, and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, adapting to changing priorities
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools
