A sales agent is a professional that your company hires to sell products or services and act as a spokesperson for your brand in the process.

**Conduct research -**

Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.

Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.

Adjusts the sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet and needs of the potential customer.

Prepare Sales forecast for the month.

**Client Visit/Sales -**

Contact client to arrange / confirm client meeting.

Greets potential customers, listens to their needs and problems, and steers them toward products that can help them to address their needs.

Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.

Services existing accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.

Update Customer Call List with Potential new customers.

**Orders/Pricing -**

Processing of Quotations and Sales Orders.

Ensure that sales orders are correct and reflect achievable delivery dates.

Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.

Develop pricing of products.

**Client Liaison -**

Send updated Pricing and Catalogue’s to clients.

Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

**Reporting -**

Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

Recommends changes in products, by evaluating results and competitive developments.

Attend weekly sales meetings and report on sales.

Any other reports requested from management.

**Administration -**

Update Customer Call List.

Update customer information on Teams.

Check open/overdue sales orders on ERP System.

Send Credit Apps to Head Office - Finance Department.

Ensure customer accounts is up to date.

Maintaining of proper filling system.

General Administration.

**Other Duties -**

Assist with deliveries.

Any other tasks assigned by his or her supervisor.
