Internal Sales Representative - Pietermaritzburg
Our client is seeking a motivated and service-driven Internal Sales Representative to join their team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a solid understanding of the company's products and services to communicate value propositions to customers effectively
  • Manage and action quotes, orders, and sales-related enquiries received via telephone, email, or walk-in customers
  • Source and confirm product/service pricing from suppliers
  • Analyse and interpret sales enquiries to extract relevant technical information, ensuring accurate product/service selection and specifications
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a proactive level of telephone and email communication with existing and prospective customers
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress to support the achievement of sales targets
  • Perform general filing and administrative duties within the sales department
  • Carry out any ad hoc tasks reasonably aligned with the employee's skills, experience, and training
 
Requirements:
  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate
  • Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role, preferably within the IT industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning, growth, and delivering exceptional service
  • Own reliable transport and a valid driver's licence
  • Knowledge of Pastel is advantageous
