Danfoss is thrilled to welcome an enthusiastic Customer Service Intern to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg, South Africa. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in establishing and nurturing positive relationships with our customers, acting as the primary point of contact for your assigned customer accounts. The position offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in customer engagement, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed with the utmost care and professionalism.

Your focus will be on delivering service excellence by responding to customer requests and exploring ways to enhance their experience. This role is a **fixed-term** contract lasting **one year**.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following.
- Answering inbound calls from customers with various questions and enquiries about Danfoss’s products and services.
- Reviewing of project specifications and product selection to quote.
- Handling general pre
- and post-sales customer queries, orders, and claims.
- Collaborating with sales, transportation, fulfilment, and warehouse teams to ensure that we are delivering on our customer’s expectations.
- Conducting analysis of a customer’s forecast, trends in orders, and contract details to ensure we are staying ahead of their needs.
- Supporting fellow Customer Service team members, as needed, to ensure the team can achieve annual goals.
- Managing data quality in SAP and CRM system.
- Sending out packing lists; invoices and export documents to customers and ensuring that these documents are received by Danfoss upon collection or sending of products.

**Background & Skills**:

- Recent graduate or advanced student pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Good at attention to detail coupled with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Competencies in problem-solving and time management.
- Customer-focused with exceptional interpersonal relationship-building skills.
- Open to change and seeking ways to improve operations.
