**About the role**:
The main purpose of this position is to provide a platform for continuous learning and development within Nebula, called the Nimbus internship program. The incumbent will be responsible for the management and delivery of the learning and development cycle as well as drafting training curriculums for all internship programs and driving the technical development of these programs.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Operations**
- Sourcing, interviewing, and recruiting interns for the Nimbus Internship Program.
- Manage and oversee Quality Assurance of deliverables for all internship programs
- Address Intern development goals and performance reviews
- Draft and execute technical development roadmap of all Internship programs
- Train and supervise interns on development processes and tools relevant to their internship program
- Provide advice and mentorship to Interns developing Minimum Viable Products by providing opportunities to simulate real delivery
- Assist the Interns with drawing up their curriculum vitae, building their job profiles and preparing for interviews for job opportunities and seeking possible job opportunities internally or externally for the employment of the Interns
- Efficiently manage day to day team and people operations, e.g. leave and performance
- Construct weekly/bi-weekly assessments to test Intern knowledge adoption
- Monitoring of all training and Development internally and externally for all employees
- Draft and execute annual training calendar internally and externally

**Projects**
- Develop and maintain an internal training calendar for all employees.
- Develop and maintain curriculums for all internship programs focusing on technical as well as soft skill development.
- Drive timely upkeep of progress on the relevant KanBan boards for all Intern projects
- Do check-in with the stream leads to ensure Interns are on track to reach their goals at the end of the project
- Refine Proof of Concept delivered by monthly Hackathon Days as approved by Architecture Team
- Assist relevant Stream Leads to determine if a Proof of Concept is valid for adoption into group suite of systems.
- Help determine continued investments or termination of Proof of Concept.
- Create and maintain suitable Minimum Viable Product testing frameworks

**Reporting**
- Drive documentation of learnings on the relevant wiki
- Report monthly status to Exco and Management

**More about you - Must Haves**:

- Relevant 3-year degree
- Assessor and Skills Development Facilitator certification will be beneficial
- 1-2 Years’ experience with managing Seta funding (preferably working with MICT Seta)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS office suite
- Minimum 2 years training and development experience
- Previous Experience as a learning and development coordinator within a tech environment.
- Experienced and knowledgeable on the development lifecycle with sufficient and suitable experience in the coding and software development sector using relevant Microsoft Technologies, with minimum 2 years-experience.
- Passion for teaching and mentorship.
- Knowledge of the Agile Software Development methodology
