Factory Floor Manager

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Factory Floor Manager to oversee daily operations on the factory floor, lead a dedicated team, and ensure that production goals are met on time, and to the highest standards.

**Duties**:

- Supervise and manage a team of production workers, operators, and support staff, ensuring adherence to production schedules and company policies.
- Ensure production targets are met efficiently and safely.
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced to quality standards and customer specifications.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal functionality and cleanliness.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of raw materials to avoid production delays.
- Monitor production workflow and resolve any issues in the process.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any machinery or equipment breakdowns.
- Train, coach, and develop staff to improve performance and support career growth.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any cross-functional issues.
- Sending out stock

**Key requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Factory Floor Manager or in a similar manufacturing leadership role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production workflows.
- Experience managing and leading teams in a factory or production environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
- Must be able to start immediately.
