It’s an exciting time to be part of IFF. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to become part of our industry-leading Marketing based in South Africa.
As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and contribute to various marketing initiatives aimed at promoting our products and services within the food, flavours and ingredients market. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about marketing strategies, market research and industry insights, and customer-engaging campaigns.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns targeted at key customers.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers, understand industry trends, and evaluate competitive activities. Provide insights and recommendations based on the research findings to support decision-making processes.
- Content Creation: Help create engaging content to showcase our products and services. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing collateral, presentations, sales materials, and product documentation.
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of trade shows, industry events, and customer presentations. Assist in coordinating logistics, booth setup, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up activities.

**Job Requirements**:
Currently pursuing, or recently graduated, a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong passion for marketing and a desire to learn about B2B marketing in the food and ingredients industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with basic design tools such as Canva
- Experience in formal design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) an advantage
- Basic understanding of market research techniques and data analysis.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced industry.

This is a paid internship position with a duration of 12 months. As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience, receive mentorship from industry professionals, and contribute to impactful marketing initiatives in the B2B food, flavours and ingredients industry.
