Site foreman wanted for a construction company based in Cape Town.

Job Summary:
The Site Foreman will oversee and coordinate the daily operations on construction sites. This includes supervising the work of the site crew, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the construction team on-site.
- Ensure all work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Monitor and maintain health and safety standards on the construction site.
- Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Paying of wages weekly.
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise on-site.
- Oversee quality control.
- Manage subcontractors and labour on site.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Site Foreman in the construction industry with contactable references.
- Must be available immediately to start.
- Ability to read and interpret building plans, and drawings.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Own cellphone.
- Working hours are Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00. If projects are behind on schedule, Saturdays would be required.

- Position is contract based with a salary of R3750 per week with possibility of permanent position.
