Joining workstations to the domain (Microsoft365 Azure)
- Ensuring that all Group policies (user and workstation) have been applied
- Performing preliminary and installation testing
- Configure user’s profile as per client End User Standards
- Ensure 95% of all workstations have latest antivirus definitions (Kaspersky)
- Ensure that the latest antivirus agent is deployed and functional
- Ensure 95% of all workstations have the latest Microsoft patches
- Ensure manual deployment of software when required
- Provide 1st line support of all approved software used by REDMPS
- Perform Active Directory password reset and unlock.
- Update firmware and drivers when required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve all computer related issues and provide root cause analysis
- Perform Data recovery services from crashed machines using TNG tools
- Perform support on workstations that are out of OEM warranty
- Perform basic hardware support on Out of Warranty equipment
- Ensure end user devices are registered in the CMDB / Asset Register
- Attending to ad-hoc installations, moves, additions, changes and decommissioning (IMACD)
- Adherence to all client ICT policies and procedures (suggestion if not available)
- Configure employee mobile devices for Microsoft365 synchronization of mail\calendar\contacts as per client policy
- Support and maintenance for existing cloud solutions i.e. Microsoft365
- Provide secure printing support

EDUCATION:

- Matric with maths at Higher Grade
- A+ / N+
- Diploma in IT or related / MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) / MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) preferred.
