Hotel General Manager

As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the property's management in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring the profitable operation of the property, delivering effective and efficient services to all guests, and developing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding guest service, operational excellence, and financial profitability
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit goals and manage expenses to meet or exceed budgeted targets
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health and safety, and regulatory requirements
- Manage the hotel's financial performance by monitoring revenue and expenses, analyzing variances, and taking corrective action where necessary
- Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, employees, and stakeholders to promote a positive image of the hotel
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance throughout the hotel
- Ensure all employees receive ongoing training and development to enhance their skills and job performance
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain guests
- Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless operations.
**Requirements**:
- Min 5 years CURRENT General Management experience of 4* or 5* HOTELS.
- Hotel Management Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Management, or Economics beneficial.
- Experience in Hotel management software and Point of sale software.
- Proactive in approach, able to remain calm under pressure, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Great attention to detail and trustworthiness.
- Presentable and well-spoken with strong leadership skills.
