Our client, a leading payments service provider, has an exciting opportunity for a **Channel Manager** to manage and grow its relationships with their payment networks. The successful individual has extensive experience in retail networks as well as a good understanding of bill payments within these environments.

**Role responsibilities**
- Grow transaction volumes through the effective servicing of payment networks primarily in retail environment
- Collaborate internally at all levels around decision making, operations, solution enhancements, execution, etc.
- Liaise with Admin, Finance, and IT to ensure operations pertaining to payment networks run smoothly
- Grow payment networks under management in the rest of Africa
- Sales data monitoring & measurement
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships (incl. networking at expos & events)
- Explore innovative new solutions or strategic opportunities to grow the business via payment networks
- Collaborate with Marketing Manager to maintain marketing presence at payment networks
- Ongoing reporting.

**Essential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Customer Service, Sales, Technical knowledge, and Marketing in the payments industry.
- Experience in developing business initiatives to scale.
- Understanding of the project & product development lifecycle & digital environment.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).

**Other**:

- Fluent in English (Afrikaans will be beneficial).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Clear criminal, fraud, and credit record.
