Exciting Opportunity for a Production Manager with a Food Technology Degree

Are you passionate about the food industry and ready to lead our production team to success? We are seeking a talented Production Manager with a Food Technology Degree to join our dynamic team and oversee our manufacturing operations.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Production Manager will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality food products. Responsibilities include:

- Leading and managing the production team to achieve production targets and quality standards
- Developing and implementing production schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency
- Monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices
- Managing inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing waste
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance, to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including HACCP and GMP
- Training and developing production staff to enhance their skills and capabilities
- Overseeing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Analyzing production data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Participating in the development of annual budgets and managing production costs

Requirements for this role include:

- A Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field
- Previous experience in a production management role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends, as needed
