Established in 1989, Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing is a global leader in crafting custom and semi-custom power and sailing catamarans, powerboats as well as offshore rescue craft. Nestled in the heart of the Port of Cape Town, we are passionate about delivering excellence in maritime craftsmanship. We are currently seeking skilled Boat Building Carpenters to join our team and contribute to the creation of exceptional marine vessels.

**Job Purpose**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute precise and high-quality carpentry, joinery and cabinetry work for high quality marine vessels.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings to ensure accurate construction.
- Collaborate with the boatbuilding team to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Utilise your expertise in boatbuilding techniques to contribute to the production process.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Participate in team meetings and provide insights to enhance project outcomes.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

**Desired Experience & Qualifications**:

- Boatbuilding qualification or carpentry qualification.
- Minimum of three years of carpentry/shopfitting experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Car
- pentry and joinery experience in boatbuilding is ideal.
- Seasoned shopfitters with relevant skills and experience are also encouraged to apply.

**Salary**: Negotiable, commensurate with experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From R1,00 per month

**Experience**:

- boat building: 1 year (preferred)
- carpentry/joinery/shopfitting: 3 years (required)
- reading mechanical drawings: 2 years (required)
