**Job Purpose**:
As a Tooling Carpenter at Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in the creation and maintenance of moulds, jigs, and fixtures used in the construction of our high-quality catamarans. Your expertise will ensure that our tooling processes are precise, efficient, and meet the highest standards of quality.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Construct and maintain molds, jigs, and fixtures for the production of catamaran components.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide the tooling construction process.
- Utilise a variety of hand and power tools to shape and assemble tooling components.
- Ensure all tooling is constructed with precision and accuracy, adhering to design specifications.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to address and resolve any tooling issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of tooling to ensure it remains in optimal condition.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
**Desired Experience & Qualification**:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Tooling Carpenter or in a similar role within the boatbuilding or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong experience with hand and power tools used in carpentry and tooling.
- Knowledge of materials and techniques used in the construction of moulds, jigs, and fixtures.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

**Salary**: Negotiable, commensurate with experience.
