**Overall Purpose of the Job**:
To perform accounting and clerical task related to the efficient processing of bank and cash transactions
**Responsibilities**:
**Output 1 - **Complete and accurate bank processing for all ADvTECH bank accounts**:
- Cashbook processing _
- Process bank transactions daily
- Unallocated accounts _
- Investigate and resolve all unallocated transactions together with Brands and GSS accounts payable department
- Prepare relevant correction journals
- Prepare weekly list of unidentified transactions for Team lead to follow up with bank
- Request clearing of international payments
- SMS communication _
- Prepare SMS list as required
**Output 2 -** Accurate reconciliations for ADvTECH bank accounts**:
***- Prepare bank reconciliation
- Upload bank statement onto SharePoint
- Follow up and resolve all reconciling items
- Prepare unallocated account reconciliation
**Output 3** -** Timely query resolution within 2-day period**:
***- Clear queries allocated in Fresh service
- Address ad hoc queries from Brands
- Provide information required by internal and external auditors
**Output 4 -** Timely execution of ad-hoc projects**:
- Provide information required / execute tasks defined by Team lead as and when required for additional projects e.g. D365 migration
**Education**
**Minimum**:
***Grade 12 with a bookkeeping qualification
**Experience**:
1-3 years Financial Accountant/ bookkeeper/ cashbook controller
