Accounting Clerk

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Accounts Payable & Receivable**:
Process and track payments, ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner. Review and reconcile incoming payments with bank records.
Assist with collections and follow up on overdue accounts.
- **Data Entry & Record Keeping**:
Accurately enter financial data into the accounting system. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- **Bank Reconciliations**:
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure that company records match the bank’s statements. Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues as needed.
- **Assistance with Payroll**:
Assist with payroll processing by compiling data on employee hours, commissions, and deductions. Ensure timely submission of payroll information to the payroll department.
- **Financial Reporting**:
Assist with preparing basic financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Support the preparation of quarterly and year-end financial reports.
- **Invoice & Expense Tracking**:
Verify and process vendor invoices, ensuring correct approval and coding. Maintain accurate records of business expenses, tracking receipts and documentation for reporting.
- **Inventory & Asset Management**:
Track and maintain an accurate record of inventory and company assets, ensuring proper reporting and adherence to company policy.
- **Communication & Liaison**:
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial transactions and inquiries. Provide administrative support to the Business Development team.
Pay: R10 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
