The Procurement department is an important function for ensuring cost-effective purchasing of all materials and services that meets the requirements of an effective and efficient water treatment company.

Procurement and Logistics has a crucial role acting as a communication bridge between suppliers and engineers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Ensuring that all products and services are obtained at the right quality, right cost, right place and at the right quantity

2. Information capturing and assistance with rotation stock counts

3. Assist in processing of supplier delivery notes and invoices and liaising with the finance department for queries

4. Following up of orders and communicate lead times

6. Handle and maintain insurance requirements for logistics where needed

7. Assist in the administrative procurement processes such as requesting quotations, raising supplier delivery notes and obtaining monthly price lists

8. Requesting quotations and handling local couriers

9. Liaising with engineers and designers

10. Liaise with stores and sites regarding orders and deliveries

**Requirements**:
QUALIFICATIONS

Matric

Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Chain

EXPERIENCE

Computer literate and intermediate Microsoft Suit and Software as well as knowledge of using ERP Systems

5 years' experience in a procurement environment

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

Code B driver’s licence

Able to work in a team

Able to work by her/himself

Good communication skills

Good time management and organisational skills

Good analytical skills - must be able to analyse different scenarios and make appropriate decisions

Attention to detail
