Our Client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Trust Administrator to join their team at a leading fiduciary firm. As the Trust Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the administration and management of trust accounts. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional service to clients. The Trust Administrator will collaborate with internal teams, legal professionals, and external stakeholders to maintain the integrity of trust structures.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Trust Administration**:

- Manage a portfolio of trust accounts, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Oversee trust transactions, including disbursements, investments, and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with legal advisors to ensure trusts are structured and administered in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- **Client Relationship Management**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for trust clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on trust activities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service delivery.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure all trust documents and agreements are up-to-date and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulations affecting trusts and implement necessary adjustments.
- **Record-Keeping and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of trust transactions, correspondence, and legal documents.
- Prepare regular reports for clients, detailing trust performance, investments, and any relevant updates.
- **Collaboration with Internal Teams**:

- Work closely with colleagues in legal, finance, and investment departments to coordinate trust activities.
- Provide necessary information and documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
- **Risk Management**:

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with trust administration.
- Implement and enhance internal controls to safeguard trust assets and ensure compliance.
- **Estate Planning Assistance**:

- Assist clients in the development and execution of estate plans, collaborating with legal advisors as needed.
- Provide guidance on trust structures that align with clients' financial goals and objectives.
- **Continuous Professional Development**:

- Stay informed about industry trends, legal changes, and best practices in trust administration.
- Pursue professional certifications and training opportunities to enhance expertise.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field would be beneficial.
- Proven experience in trust administration within a fiduciary or financial services environment.
- Knowledge of trust laws, estate planning, and fiduciary services.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for trust administration.
- Reside in Randburg
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans
