The Millennium & CAMS Journal processing function covers the processing of all product and non-product journals received from multiple stakeholders across Everyday Banking business. It involves process automation and streamlining in order to achieve efficiencies. It also involves monthly reporting (Dashboard) and tracking of all journal volumes and exceptions noted and providing business and product control Manco with meaningful insights to enable decision making and to improve control environment. This role supports the external audit process (journals audit is centralised) and support any other projects (SAP S4 Hana). The team provides continuous support to multiple stakeholders, namely, CFOs and business.

**Job Description**:
Key Accountabilities:
Team Management
- Team leader is responsible for overseeing the Millennium and CAMS Journal processing function for Everyday banking
- Manage one direct report by providing guidance and coaching

Multiple stakeholder engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders across Everyday banking business
- Review Operating Level Agreement and ensure that we meet and exceed our stakeholders’ expectations.
- Collaborate with IT on delivery of project
- Ad hoc decision support projects for the front office, PCG and finance

Journal processing & Reporting
- Ensure that Millennium and CAMS journals are processed accurately, completely and timeously.
- Pro-actively track and analyse journals volumes and exceptions and provide business with meaningful insights on how we can improve and strengthen the control environment.
- Present insights (Dashboard) and at the product control Forum
- Attend to stakeholders’ queries

External audit process support
- Create awareness of the external audit process and ensure that stakeholders support and prioritise the audit.
- Manage the audit of journals and provide support to KPMG and PwC auditors

Process automation and process streamlining (RPA)
- Identify manual or semi manual processes that should be automated or streamlined.
- Collaborate with Change Team on delivery of automated processes
- Ensure processes are automated as per Robotics Control Framework
- Collaborate with IT/Run Team to resolve robotics glitches or incidents raised without impacting our customers.

Adhoc:

- Participate in projects that are focussed on further enhancement or migration to new GL (SAP S4 Hana)
- Data Exchange Agreement (DEA) process

Role/Person Specification:
Education and Experience Required:

- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years operations finance and banking experience
- Millennium, CAMs and BTP systems knowledge will be an added advantage
- Journal processing and supervising experience
- Strong financial and product control background
- Team leader or junior manager experience
- Multiple stakeholder management
