This will be done, primarily, by establishing relationships with financial advisers, accountants and other professionals that may have a need for the products and building and developing relationships with existing firms with whom the company has terms of business

The post holder reports to the Director

- Key duties and responsibilities:_
- Financial Services Industry experience and skills will be used to create and manage the costs as well as contributing to the overall betterment of the firm
- The role suits a highly organized self-starter that is able to work remotely and is confident enough to be judged by results
- The role involves extensive travel both in South Africa and abroad. In addition to working normal business hours you will also be expected to make yourself available outside normal South African business hours as required.
- Marketing the services and products from the company and associated companies/JVs
- Representing the Company and its brands in a professional and diligent manner
- Creating a business development plan/implement the strategy
- Ensuring that product sales meet all regulatory requirements
- Working and building relationships with the Life companies and International Investment houses
- Development of new products
- Attending/presenting seminars and/or presentations
- Gathering market intelligence and understanding competitor products
- Obtaining awareness of and understanding of new markets in South Africa and greater Africa
- Liaise with tax/legal advisers
