**POSITION OVERVIEW**

You'll document products for our enterprise DNS, monitoring and traffic management solutions. You'll produce in-product microcopy, in-product help copy, notifications, error messages, technical documentation, and more. You will be responsible for several products and projects within our portfolio.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

A versatile writer to join a small but mighty team working on DNS, monitoring and traffic management products used by some of the largest enterprises in the world. You will work closely with our Engineering team in Cape Town and the team in North America, which includes our SVP of DNS, UX and PM lead.

**YOUR STRENGTHS**

- Empathize with your audience and anticipate user needs.

- Understand that your audience doesn't read help docs as bedtime stories.
- Self-edit and maintain high standards for your output.
- Can juggle a few things at a timelike a bowling ball, a Rubik's Cube, and a can of worms.
- And, importantly, you lead by example to inspire your peers always to create new and better products.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5+ years of experience writing for a technical audience.
- Education in UX, design, writing, or psychology preferred.
- Example designs and content required.
- Previous experience in a writerly endeavor.
- Entrepreneurial, motivated, and a self-starter.
- Committed and enthusiastic communicator.

**NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS**
- Holders of advanced degrees welcome.
- Experience with DNS, domains, monitoring, CDNs, and traffic management is a plus.
