Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Pietermaritzburg

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.

Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations.

2. Sales and Revenue Generation:
Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet revenue targets.

Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize account value.

3. Proactive Communication:
Keep clients informed about product updates, industry trends, and other relevant information.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.

4. Strategic Planning:
Work with the leadership team to develop account plans and strategies for achieving business goals.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

5. Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure a unified approach in serving clients.

6. Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on account status, sales performance, and other key metrics.

Conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

7. Working Hours:
Align working hours with US time zones, with standard work hours set from 3:00 pm to midnight SAST.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Account Manager, demonstrating a successful track record.
- A knack for sales and the ability to drive revenue growth.
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role, showcasing leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with industry trends and a proactive approach to staying informed.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
