Our client is recruiting for an experienced Receiving Clerk to join their team at their Head Office branch. Job Purpose To create and maintain a fully functioning, profitable Receiving Clerk and promote excellent customer service and communication responsible for the full management of Storeroom. **Responsibilities**: Make sure accurate stock in the right quantities is received. Returns are done timeously All receiving procedure are followed always Make sure that errors picked up, timeously are addressed in the correct manner Control all waste ensuring that such matter is allocated to the correct areas Report any incidents to management immediately. Value of information provided to Department and Senior Management. Perform all administrative functions related to this position **Skills required**: Customer service orientated and a willingness to deal with people every day Ability to create teamwork environment Ability to identify and solve problems Take initiative Communication skills to train staff members and communicate problem areas Accurate with figures Interpersonal skills Attention to detail - Accurate Commitment to delivery and quality Good people management skills Be able to delegate effectively Be able to operate independently and as part of a team Excellent administration skill Must have forklift experience if not valid forklift license **Qualification**: Grade 12 (Matric) Approx. 3 years' receiving experience Knowledge of current retails systems Full knowledge of all receiving department procedures Storage conditions required for different product categories to maintain quality Products sold in retails supermarkets, their quality indicators and packs sizes **Salary**: Market related **Working Hours**: Monday to Sunday - Shifts
