Position/Title: Receiving Clerk

Reports Too: Shift Supervisor

Function: Warehouse & Logistics

Area: Cape Town

Overall Responsibility:
Responsible for the accurate capturing and receiving of purchase orders and ensuring that no unplanned deliveries take place and gets offloaded from a truck. Responsible for all credits to suppliers where returns have been delivered.

**Focus Area 1**

Receiving
- Ensuring that no stock arrives on site and gets offloaded without the necessary paperwork.
- Ensuring that physical stock received vs delivery note matches and handling all paperwork.
- Capturing of stock received on Acumatica.
- Ensuring timely offloading of goods according to the booking schedule
- Ensure quality of stock received is as per standard.
- Completing the internal delivery App

**Focus Area 2**

Supplier Credits
- Ensuring that returns from trade gets captured on Acumatica to ensure stock accuracy
- Ensuring that all returns still comply to the quality standard.

**Focus Area 3**

Health and Safety
- Comply with and HACCP / IS022000 and OHSAct requirements
- Assisting with Housekeeping

**Requirements of the Role**
- Matric Certificate
- Proficiency in Inventory Management Software
- Computer Literate
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Prior experience within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector will be advantageous.

**Preferred Skills/Competencies**
- Exceptional organizational and time management skill
