Role Purpose

To ensure the central coordination and support of Member Solutions strategy related initiatives. To manage the overall delivery of Member Solutions portfolio’s from initiation to close-out, aligned to the business strategy and key objectives. The Portfolio Manager will also work to develop and implement best practices, processes, and toolsets for effective portfolio and project management, and will help educate others on best practices and effective project execution.
Requirements
- Relevant business degree
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in portfolio, program and/or project management.
- Knowledge,understanding and experience in project management tools (for example, Microsoft Project, Clarity, PPM).
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry in a retailisation or member solutions environment.
- Minimum of 2 years Leadership experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Understands the Member Solutions objectives and what needs to be achieved in line with the Momentum Corporate business strategy.
- Drive and provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings around Retirement Benefit Counselling (RBC), employee financial wellbeing and Retailisation.
- Stay abreast of market trends pertaining to RBC, employee financial wellbeing and Retailisation.
- Preparation of presentations relating to strategy required in various forums. Responsible for the accurate distribution of data to various forums.
- Incorporates Value Creation and Sustainable Solutions objectives into portfolio plan, measures, monitors and delivers objectives.
- Partner with key stakeholders to deliver on communication and the marketing strategy for Member Solutions.
- Effectively communicate and take a leadership role in preparing and presenting proposals and reports to team and management.
- Provide portfolio management expertise in the production of communication materials to support Member Solutions communication strategy and business plan.
- Work with the leadership team, business sponsors to provide a comprehensive overview of capital and operational projects (overview includes the anticipated overall budget for each initiative in the portfolio).
- Ensure that all initiatives meet business objectives in compliance with all relevant governance, risk and audit requirements.
- Assists with development, coordination and management of the Member education content.
- Collaborate with Content management/Publishing team, Product Management, Editorial and QA teams.
- Drive member awareness, member engagements and employer worksite activations.
- Drive the coordination of the Member Conference, various marketing campaigns, digital campaigns and onsite activations.
- Create and edit Member Solutions Executive presentations to deliver a concise and persuasive message.
- Prepare and consolidate reports for the Member Solutions Executive.
- Establish and maintain connections with key stakeholders to consolidate and verify content accuracy.
- Participate in weekly and monthly meetings to update status on reports to key stakeholders.
- Implements regular reviews and controls to monitor and report portfolio performance.
- Build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to foster trust.
- Provide updates to key stakeholders and/or teams where applicable.
- Drive content creation: design, publish, and distribution of various communications to FAW Members in collaboration with the Momentum Corporate Marketing team.
- Overseeing the communication process. Including ensuring that communication relating to Webinars is distributed on time.
- Attend to portfolio breaches that fall outside of re-balancing action and ensure compliance to governance, relevant legislation and risk mitigation strategies.
- Implements clear communication protocols, processes and tools for the team.
- Provide concise, timely and effective communication and project management consultation and support to Member Solutions.
- Manage, coordinate and drive creative communication projects in partnership with the Momentum Corporate Marketing Team.
- Ensure that the necessary monthly invites and member holistic communications are sent out timeously.
