Quality Assurance Analyst

**The position**
- As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will:

- Ensure compliance with SAHPRA (South African Health Products Regulatory Authority) and Pharmacy Council requirements.
- Co-ordinate with GBS (Global Business Services) for timely uploading of local procedures into QualityDocs.
- Support product release processes and prepare batch release documentation.
- Perform annual product quality reviews and report significant trends.
- Manage product quality complaints and recall handling.
- Maintain good documentation practices and data integrity.
- Handle invoice processing and follow-up on payments.
- Support deviation and change control processes
- Conduct supplier audits according to an approved supplier audit schedule
- Support quality performance initiatives.
- Serve as a backup for release of product to the market
- Support training for induction of new employees on Novo Nordisk QMS
- Support the timely deployment of training for the affiliate
- Serve as a backup for submission of exemption for post import testing to the health authority
- Collaborate with the affiliate to obtain inputs for the annual Quality Management Review

**Qualifications**
- Experience in quality assurance, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry between 3 to 5 years
- Strong understanding of SAHPRA and Pharmacy Council regulations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Familiarity with auditing and supplier quality management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
