**Introduction**:
Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion. Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.

**Job description**:
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

- Procurement
- Construction Team Management.
- Planning, Organisation, Control

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
- Determine labour requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
- Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety requirements, and other regulations.
- Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
- Direct and supervise workers.
- Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
- Select, contract, and oversee workers who complete specific pieces of the project.
- Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects.
- Develop, implement and maintain quality control programs.
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites.
- Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of systems.
- Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites and ensure that proper procedures are adhered to.
- Site Sign off.

**CONSTRUCTION PRINCIPLES**:

- Ensuring the safe, reliable and effective performance that will contribute to total client satisfaction.
- Lead and assist in the construction project “scope of work” clarification and description with client and project team.
- Act as the focal point / link between the client and team ensuring details and expectations are clear and understood.
- Ensure that all work force / tools / equipment / materials and facilities; overall project resources are aligned and committed to.
- Monitor project activities, ensuring compliance to all client safety, policy and procedure guidelines.
- Track and report to client on change orders that will adversely affect project budget and schedule.
- Inform operational manager on progress and overall performance.
- Supervisory Responsibilities.

**VEHICLES TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT**:

- Responsible for all vehicles, tools, equipment, testing equipment and company assets issued to site.
- Will be liable for any loss or damage of the above mentioned.
- Monthly, weekly and daily Spot Check Audits need to be conducted and all deficiencies need to be addressed and rectified by appointed responsible person.

**QUALITY / SYSTEMS CONTROL**
- Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspection and testing for on-site activities in accordance with Inspection and Test Plans and Checklists, Safe Work Method Statements and record the results.
- Ensure that work concedes in accordance with current codes, standards, operation & maintenance manuals, specifications, drawings, etc.
- Ensure that all processes are carried out by qualified tradesmen in accordance with approved procedures; Work Cover and Safe Work Method Statements

**Minimum requirements**:
EXPERIENCE:
2-3 Year’s Site Operations exposure

Familiar with construction environment

High job demand in tight turnaround time required

Highly developed managerial skills

Solar AC/DC Experience will be advantageous
