Transport Supervisor

At ResourceCo, we are seeking an Operations Supervisor to help lead the day-to-day coordination of people, contractors, and workflows within our Material Solutions pillar. This role is critical in ensuring safe, efficient operations while delivering exceptional service to our customers and contractors. You’ll be a hands‑on leader with strong logistics and contractor management experience, capable of balancing operational demands, people leadership, and customer outcomes — all while living our values and driving continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will be: Support the State Manager in leading a high-performing operations team aligned with ResourceCo’s values Supervise, train and develop operations staff, including onboarding and probation management Manage contractor registrations, compliance, allocations and daily bookings Coordinate job sheets, scheduling, rates accuracy and tip bookings to support smooth operations Maintain accurate contractor and operational records across ResourceCo systems Build strong relationships with contractors, customers and internal stakeholders Monitor and report WHS and Chain of Responsibility (COR) compliance Assist with contractor recruitment and ongoing engagement Participate in the rotating after‑hours and weekend on-call roster About you: Experience in logistics, transport or operations supervision (civil, earthmoving, waste or similar preferred) Proven experience coordinating fleets, contractors or operational workflows Confident people leader with strong communication and relationship-building skills Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service mindset with practical problem-solving skills Sound computer literacy and attention to detail Safety-first approach with a solid understanding of WHS and COR obligations Who we are: ResourceCo is a global leader in the recovery and re-manufacturing of primary resources, with operations spanning Australia and South‑East Asia.
