The Director of Strategic Advisory will grow the team and manage full-time team members in international locations, namely in the US and South Africa, as well as a network of specialized international subconsultants who work on a project-by-project basis.

More broadly, the employee will not only play a significant role in continuing to expand the Strategic Advisory business but also, as an executive of the business, will support the company’s marketing efforts, business development, overall operations, and special strategic projects as needed.

**WHAT DO YOU NEED**:

- A well-rounded skill set which includes analytical and critical thinking, comfort with financial modelling, immaculate writing, marketing and branding, and creativity, as well as an affinity for hospitality/tourism, nature, and adventure
- Proven track record of delivering insightful and visually compelling presentations and reports
- Ability to understand and combine commercial, strategic, and operational perspectives
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and cross-cultural emotional intelligence
- Confidence in a client-facing environment and proven capability in client relationship management - Demonstrable project management skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent, executive-level written and oral communication skills; business proficiency in English is essential and additional European languages is highly desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
- Flexibility to travel internationally several times per year and work on projects spanning multiple time zones
- Self-starter with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Strong sense of commitment and a desire to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven team environment
- Passion to learn about and work in the experiential travel industry by working with a rapidly growing market leader
- Senior management level skills in people management, business understanding, employee relations, and organizational knowledge
- Strong business ethics and values
- 8+ years of professional experience in business/financial analysis, consulting, real estate, asset management, and/or strategy; preferably possessing hospitality and/or tourism operations experience (especially in the luxury, adventure, and/or eco-tourism sectors)
- At least 4 years of experience in managing teams
