**Business Process Mapping Consultant - 8 Months**

**1. Purpose of the Role**:
To develop, document, and standardize our client's billing-related processes using industry-standard business process modeling methodologies. The Consultant will ensure processes are mapped for operational scalability, inter-system integration, and future training use.

**2. Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyse current billing processes and identify inefficiencies or gaps.
- Design and document **end-to-end process flows** using BPMN 2.0 or Visio.
- Develop **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)** aligned to each process.
- Produce **clear, accessible process documentation** for stakeholders and staff training.
- Facilitate workshops to gather input and validate process flows.
- Ensure process flows include:

- Input/output definitions
- System interaction points
- Error-handling procedures
- Deliver process maps compatible with BPM software platforms.
- Support knowledge transfer through structured workshops and review sessions.

**3. Key Deliverables**:

- Business Process Maps for the following processes:

- New Customer Account Creation (Water & Sewer)
- Cross-Service Account Linking
- Meter Reading and Validation
- Billing Cycle Management & Exception Handling
- Account Adjustment Process
- Finalisation Process
- Device Management
- Implausible Process
- Billing Reports
- Supporting SOP documentation
- Workshop and training material
- Reference guides for implementation and future onboarding

**4. Minimum Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum **2 years’ experience** in **business analysis** or **process mapping**.
- Proven track record in **process documentation and BPMN 2.0**.
- Experience with **Visio** or other BPM tools (e.g., Bizagi, Lucidchart).
- Experience working on **municipal or public sector billing systems** (advantageous).
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders across various levels (technical and non-technical).
