**Payroll Administrator and Employee Relations Officer**
The following processes and responsibilities making up the role
- 1) Processing of monthly Payroll
- Capture leave and sick days on Jarrison Time and Simple Pay
- Capture staff advances and purchases from spreadsheet
- Add and remove employees as necessary
2) Keep Employee files up to date
- Update contracts
- Check for expired documents like passports and asylum permits
- Talent acquisition and retention
4) Disciplinary Procedures
- Issue warnings and hold counseling sessions as necessary
- Chair disciplinary hearings
- Representing the company at the CCMA when cases arise
5) Conduct skills assessments and workplace suitability assessments
- Observe employees in their teams and interview them
- Rate their skills competence against the skills matrix for their position
- Rate their attitude and compatibility to the workplace
- Provide corrective coaching where necessary
6) Compile an employee handbook including the Company Policies and Procedures and provide training on this to all employees.
Flexi-hours of 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), accommodating day and night shift staff.

- Certificate (required)
**Experience**:
