**UCOOK - DIGITAL BRAND MANAGER**

**JOB OVERVIEW**

The Digital Brand Manager (UCOOK) leads the overall marketing function for the brand and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The Digital Brand Manager works in partnership with the UCOOK CEO, New Product Development (NPD), Food, Product and Development teams, and the in-house studio and functional marketing teams, to drive brand growth and build brand love. He/She is directly supported by the Assistant Brand Manager, Marketing Co-Ordinator and Social Media Manager. The Digital Brand Manager also works with the in-house creative studio and the various functional marketing expert teams to drive revenue growth and brand objectives throughout digital and other channels.

**KPIs AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**1. Key KPIs are**:

- Driving the Top line sales target against business plan.
- New customers acquisition through the various channels against business plan
- Meeting traffic targets per channel as set out in the marketing/business plan
- Customer retention and re-activation
- Seamless execution of ad hoc and ongoing marketing campaigns
- Source and executing rate card activities in line with the yearly income target

**2. Key Responsibilities are**:

- _Strategy and planning:_
- Creates the annual marketing plan for key metrics per channel (incl. traffic and revenue);
- Works with the CEO to develop the annual marketing strategy for UCOOK (online and in-store), including setting objectives and target metrics for all projects to support the goals set out in point 1 above.
- Develops the annual calendar of marketing activity with Food and NPD teams
- Assess and if necessary, adjust strategy based on performance throughout the year
- _Reporting and Analysis_
- Works with BI team to set up and track key consumer and web site metrics, as well as metrics for all marketing activities, to determine effectiveness and ROI
- Reports on marketing metrics (traffic and revenue per channel, customer numbers, retention and acquisition, frequency and AOV) in bi-weekly KPI meetings
- Reports on marketing performance and strategy in quarterly business reviews
- Generates campaign reports for each of the big campaigns in the marketing calendar
- _Driving Growth:_
- Driving sales growth (customer acquisition, frequency and basket size) using paid and owned digital channels.
- Works in partnership with functional marketing team to drive customer acquisition via paid media and ensures conversion via input into the end-to-end customer experience / UX (with Dev teams)
- Works with CRM, BI and Dev teams to develop data-driven customer segments, personalization and recommendation engines, to improve customer segmentation and cross-sell / upsell opportunities
- Works with the partnerships manager to get new partner programs set up and establishes a good working relationship with partners, including management of day-to-day marketing relationship
- Works with social media manager to grow the UCOOK community, leveraging the components of the FtN digital eco-system (web site, social media, PR, blog, etc.)
- Overseeing and driving the execution of the affiliate marketing strategy
- _Campaign Execution:_
- Executing compelling, innovative and integrated marketing communications, based on the marketing calendar
- Owns all campaign and promotional rollouts and with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensures all deadlines are adhered to, driving executional excellence
- Conceptualize, brief in and deliver creative brand-building, promotional and growth campaigns, including the creation of strong visuals and collateral to convey messaging, in collaboration with the in-house creative studio
- Owns rollout of all campaigns, supported by the Assistant Brand Manager and Marketing Co-ordinator
- _Content creation and dissemination:_
- Develops strategic content based on the annual content calendar that brings the UCOOK brand to life and links directly to product sales, across all digital owned and paid channels, in collaboration with the in-house creative studio, and finds ways to use content efficiently across all channels (including blog, category landing pages on web site, etc.)
- Oversees the seamless functioning of the blog and coordinates its continuous update with fresh content
- _Marketing rate card and supplier campaigns:_
- Works closely with Commercial team to develop and execute marketing campaigns for suppliers to achieve UCOOK and supplier objectives, and achieve marketing revenue targets
- Maintains and updates the UCOOK marketing rate card
- _Budget management_
- Setting up budgets and managing implementation to come in on budget;
- _Stakeholder management_
- Ensures all stakeholders are delivering to the marketing calendar (functional marketing team, in-house creative studio, operations team, CS etc.)
