**JOB OVERVIEW**
The Marketing Manager (UCOOK) leads the overall marketing function for the brand and reports to the Group Marketing CMO. The Marketing Manager works in partnership with the UCOOK CEO, New Product Development (NPD), Food, Product and Development teams, and the in-house studio and functional marketing teams, to drive brand growth and build brand love, supported by the Marketing Co-Ordinator (UCOOK). The Marketing Manager also works with the in-house creative studio and the various functional marketing expert teams to drive revenue growth and brand objectives throughout digital and other channels.
**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Strategy and planning:
- Works with the UCOOK management team and Group Marketing CMO to develop the annual marketing strategy for UCOOK, including setting objectives and target metrics for all projects
- Develops the annual calendar of marketing activity with UCOOK CEO, NPD, Food and Retail teams
- Works with UCOOK BI team and Group Marketing CMO to set up and track key consumer and web site metrics, as well as metrics for all marketing activities, to determine effectiveness and ROI
- Growth marketing - tracks and understands key brand growth metrics (new customer acquisition and retention), and develops relevant campaigns to drives sales growth and address negative changes in key metrics
- Works in partnership with the Group Paid Media Lead and supporting agencies to drive customer acquisition via paid media (Google Ads and social media), and ensures conversion via input into UX on UCOOK web site (working with Product and Development team)
- Works with Group Partnership Lead and Group CRM Lead to maximise new customer acquisition via partnerships, lead generation campaigns, etc.
- Proactively seeks out new and innovative opportunities to drive customer acquisition beyond existing partnerships and channels
- Always-on marketing - executes compelling, innovative and integrated evergreen marketing communications, based on the marketing calendar
- Owns all campaign and promotional rollouts, and with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensures all deadlines are adhered to, driving executional excellence
- Conceptualises, briefs and delivers creative brand-building, promotional and growth campaigns, including the creation of strong visuals and collateral to convey messaging, in collaboration with the in-house creative studio and functional experts
- Own retail and communication rollout of all campaigns, supported by the Marketing Co-ordinator
- Works in partnership with the functional marketing team to grow the UCOOK community, leveraging the components of the UCOOK digital eco-system (web site, social media, CRM, blog, etc.)
- Works with the functional marketing team to get new partner programmes set up and establishes a good working relationship with partner, including management of day-to-day marketing relationship
- Budget management - Sets up budgets and manages implementation to come in on budget
- Supports the NPD and Food teams in the development of own-label packaging
- Defines packaging architecture and hierarchy, working with Group Marketing CMO
- Defines key messaging and brief in packaging copy & design for all new own-label products
- Stakeholder management:
- Owns interface with NPD and Food teams in terms of co-ordinating new product launches and promotional plans, and works with the development team to ensure seamless integration between marketing activities, promotions and website
- Ensures all stakeholders are delivering to the marketing calendar (functional expert team, creative studio, etc.)
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Degree or diploma in Marketing or Advertising
- 6 - 8 years relevant brand management experience, with a proven track record in digital growth marketing
- Strong digital and growth marketing skills:
- Commercially minded, with a strong focus on tracking and understanding key metrics
