IT Support Technician (Tier 2)
- Durban

An IT Support Technician (Tier 2) job vacancy is currently available in Durban, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa.

The IT **Support Technician (Tier 2)** will provide basic and mid-level desktop, network and basic server support to clients.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Retention of the client by giving exceptional service
- Efficiency and effectiveness resulting from improved technical deliver
- Data accuracy and relevance for managing the business operations
- Delivering the service faster than the client expects with high levels of communication

**Desired Experience & Qualification**:

- At least 5 years of active and current experience in the Tier 2 arena
- IT including all technical infrastructure basic server/networking systems processes, desktop security, desktop, remote cloud computing, Microsoft 365 administration, hosting, web services hardware/software, multiple devices e.g. PC, Mac, Mobile etc.
- Technical troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Solution orientation / problem solving
- Process orientation
- Relationship management an conflict resolution
- Is willing to go the extra mile
- Not a clock watcher
- Own reliable vehicle with valid drivers’ license

**Package & Remuneration**:

- R15,000 to R22,000 depending on experience.
- A fixed term 3-months contract will be offered. Based on the outcome of performance reviews during this period a permanent contract may be considered.
