Job description
We seek a highly motivated and skilled Network & IT Support Technician to join our growing team in Durban. In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. You will maintain network stability, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures.
**Responsibilities**:
Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients experiencing network, hardware, or software issues.
Proactively monitor network performance and identify potential problems.
Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Manage and maintain Fortigate firewalls, ensuring network security.
Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services.
Work with Amazon AWS cloud services.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and support activities.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
Experience
IP networking: 2 years (required)
Proven experience as a Network & IT Support Technician or similar role.
In-depth understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols.
Hands-on experience with Fortigate firewalls (essential).
Experience with Amazon AWS cloud services.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be based in Durban.
Must possess a valid driver's license and own reliable transportation.
Education/Qualification
Certificates (preferred)
Pay: R15 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month
