**Why Ramp**

Ramp is a fast growing UK SaaS startup, with founders who have successfully exited businesses in the past and worked on some of the worlds biggest brands, including Candy Crush, PokemonGO, Curve, Monzo to name a few.

Traditional revenue forecasting for businesses is broken. Ramp was built out of a pure frustration of using spreadsheets to manually forecast our businesses.

We are a SaaS platform that predicts the revenue of B2C companies, giving them the ability to plan better and make decisions in real-time

**Your Role**

As an analyst at Ramp, you will be responsible for managing incoming due diligence assessments that we complete for Venture Capital and Private Equity companies. This will entail gaining a deep understanding of the data and metrics being supplied from the target companies by learning what metrics are reasonable for new user acquisition, retention and monetisation. You will do some competitor analysis to ground the assumptions we are using, configure and run the analysis in our proprietary model, create a presentation and join senior management team members in client engagement meetings. You will report to our lead analyst and strategy specialist, who will help you gain the domain expertise needed for this role. You will be expected to work cross functionally and collaborate with our data science, management and sales teams in your role.

**Responsibilities**
- Account liaison with Venture Capital companies and their portfolio companies
- Data review and prepping to run in our model (solid Excel skills, but will request help from our data scientists for more complex work)
- Setting up the scenario simulations on the Ramp product
- Outputting the results into a presentation for client
- Attending pitch and client feedback sessions
- Market research on competitors

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree
- Prior experience as an analyst
- 5+ years working in a related role
- Very strong data understanding and analysis skills (Fluent in Excel)
- Very strong presentation creation skills
- Very detail oriented, methodical and organised person
- Ability and confidence to interact and present with C-level executives (both internally and externally)
- Superior written and communication skills
- Management consultant or VC analyst background a benefit

**Salary Range**

R50k to R100k per month
