The EQUITY ANALYST will form part of the Investments team in South Africa, responsible for researching companies in any sector with a focus on attractively valued, quality businesses with strong business models, financial models, and capital allocation.

**The Analyst will**:
Do analysis of stocks (forecasted income statements, balance sheets and cash flows) and idea generation in the quality public equity markets.

Actively contribute to stock selection in the above-mentioned markets

Be responsible for company analysis and reports

Preparation of presentations on research

This role would suit an Analyst with a relevant degree who has global, commercial acumen and who is passionate about financial markets. Someone who has at least 2 years experience in an investment environment with some ability to code (programming) and is proficient in Financial Statement analysis.

This role is based in Cape Town, the hub of investment management in South Africa, for a company that manages trillions of Rands worth of investments, globally.
