Senior HR Officer

We are seeking a Senior HR Officer reporting to an Associate Director within the HR team at Sanne. The role holder will be a key member of the wider Sanne Human Resources function, however, this specific role will focus on HR project and integration activities whilst also providing adhoc day-to-day HR support services. The role requires a HR Generalist who is versatile and shows strong attention to detail. The role will be based in Johannesburg.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the Associate Director with integration tasks relating to setting up the JHB office.
- HR Operations_
- Deliver transactional HR administration services including contract production and change of terms.
- Monitor employee probationary periods including confirming to permanent staff.
- Recruitment_
- Actively support the HR team with graduate programmes.
- Responsibility for on boarding of new hires with the system set up of new employees on a weekly basis.
- Support all advertising initiatives including recruitment advertisements and articles.
- Learning & Development_
- Support the trainee course bookings for professional training.
- Support with the Learnership/SAIPA programme
- Other_
- Support the HR team with projects as required.
- Dealing with general day-to-day queries.
**Skills / Experience Required**:
Bachelor’s degree with:
- 2-3 years experience (preferable).
- A confident and personable personality.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong self-motivation and drive.
- Competent in the use of the Microsoft suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
