**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
To develop and maintain a human resource strategy that will ensure consistent and effective recruitment and selection of staff, training and development, succession and career planning, labour relations, employee performance management, employee wellbeing processes as well as the maintenance of day-to-day HR operational activities.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
HR Management:
- Manage the entire HR function towards and in support of the company growth and sustainability plan
- Development of departmental objectives and targets including the monitoring and reporting thereof
- Ensure that all HR related policies and procedures are relevant, updated and distributed
Recruitment, selection, and succession planning
- Prepare, update and control company job profiles according to position requirements
- Active recruitment in line with organisational requirements
- Plan, mitigate and ensure proactive succession planning
- Employee contracts management
Performance management
- Ongoing performance evaluations
- Development of performance improvement plans in conjunction with departmental line managers
Learning and development
- Prepare and manage the company learning and development plan in support of line management
- Ensure continuous upskill of staff
Employee Record and Documentation management
- Manage, maintain, and update employee records
- Adhere to proper documentation control in all aspects
- Manage the time and attendance, leave administration, medicals fitness etc
Employee wellness
- Develop, manage, and implement company wellness programs
Labour relations
- Ensure that the BCE, SDA, LRA and EEA are understood and adhered to
- Maintain and manage the company disciplinary code, and advise company management on all disciplinary matters and procedures

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Human resources diploma or degree or a degree in Industrial Psychology
- 5 years of experience in HR Coordinator / Generalist functions
- 3 years of experience in the management of people and people processes
- Strong Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)
- Advanced planning and organising skills, with high attention to detail
- Competent in MS Office
- Understanding and speaking of Afrikaans will be advantageous
