Duties of the Machine Assistant includes**:

- Ensure that you adhere to all Safety and covid protocols as per the company policy
- Operate the Tissue machine
- Be able to operate Overhead crane
- Familiar with Warehouse Management System
- Perform continuous quality checks and complete operator report
- Inform the Shift Supervisor of all abnormal situations
- Daily shift hand over and take over at the beginning and end of shift
- Good house keeping (5S)

Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to be considered

- Matric with Maths and Science
- Minimum of 1 years working experience
- Experience ideally obtained in a manufacturing environment
- Previous Machine Operation Experience essential
- Accuracy and high attention to detail
- Able to operate a computer for data input and retrieval purposes
- Good communication skills
- Able to read and accurately interpret documents such as operating manual
- Able to follow strict operating procedures
- Quality and continuous improvement orientated
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Flexible and able to work rotational shifts
