Seeking a qualified Accounting Senior / Supervisor to be based in Umhlanga

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Knowledge of current legislation and other relevant regulations
- Initiate requests for information from clients for annual and monthly work
- Prepare and review of working paper files
- Draft and review annual financial statements (AFS) on Caseware
- Resolve review queries from supervisor/manager/partner and do final entries as per partner’s finalisation
- Manage individual productivity and budgets (include completion of timesheets)
- Billing of clients
- Monitor SAIPA clerks development, logbooks and training needs
- Motivate the relevant team members in the department
- Effective communication with internal and external clients
- Foster, build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external clients
**Minimum Requirements**:

- 5+ years’ experience in an accounting practice environment (ie. accounting practice / accounting department in audit practice)
- All round experience at client portfolio management.
- SAIPA / SAICA accredited degree / honours
- SAIPA professional qualification
- Manager with functional knowledge and skills.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Fully conversant with Caseware, IFRS and IFRS for SMEs
- Completed SAIPA articles preferred
- Excellent academic profile
- Traceable references

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R22,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month
