M4 Core Description
To support EIS within the Operations environment, identifying opportunities to improve competitive advantage, understanding and capitalising on trends in ICT and optimize costs. Responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of information gathering and reporting requirements, financial, commercial and procurement processes and deliverable across the EIS team. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
- Motivate and coach the team to deliver against performance targets, develop and enhance team effectiveness, manage and maintain the attraction and retention of talent, and manage and empower people to execute operations. Cultivate a culture of team work through collaboration, interaction and regular communication with relevant stakeholders within BCX.
- Ensure that delivery and growth strategic roadmaps are in place and maintained for all areas.
- Facilitate the identification and realisation of new business development opportunities within both current and potential clients.
- Establish and enhance strategic customer and vendor relationships.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in order to identify and mitigate risk.
- Contribute towards the development of the Enterprise infrastructure Services strategy to achieve business objectives
- Manage and co-ordinate budgets, revenue targets, cost optimization and cost reduction inititatives within EIS.
- Prepare and present relevant management reports and recommendations to facilitate sound business decisions and optimal performance of EIS.
- Prepares long and short-range budgets and work plans and monitors adherence to approved budgets and work plans in consultation with the Managing Executive.
- Oversight of all cost and profit centres
7 years’ experience in the ICT Infrastructure Delivery discipline, within a large and highly complex organisation, with management experience
Or If the highest qualification is grade 12, 9 years’ experience in the ICT infrastructure delivery discipline, within a large and highly complex organisation, of which 2 years is at a management level Certifications Relevant Certification will be an advantage Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry Level of Engagement & Span of Control
