**The Role**: The Head of Data & Analytics role is critical to advancing the organization's data-driven decision-making capabilities. By providing strategic oversight and technical expertise, this role ensures the effective delivery of high-impact insights and fosters innovation through data-driven processes. The Head of Data & Analytics will empower cross-functional teams with actionable intelligence, optimize data infrastructure, and ensure best practices in analytics, directly contributing to improved operational efficiency and business outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**include**:

- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Oversee the development and delivery of data-driven insights, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
- Manage multiple data projects, setting priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business challenges, translating them into analytical questions and actionable insights.
- Develop, implement, and maintain best practices in data science development processes, including code quality assurance (QA) and documentation.
- Optimize data workflows and infrastructure with Snowflake, ensuring efficient data storage, processing, and retrieval.
- Design and build data visualizations in Tableau to effectively communicate insights.
- Utilize SQL and Python to build data models, perform analyses, and automate processes.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics.
- 2+ years of experience with Snowflake.
- 2+ years of experience with Tableau.
- 1+ year of experience managing and training analytics staff.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL,
Python.
- Data lifecycle management experience
- Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong experience engaging directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
- Familiarity with code QA, Git version control, and best practices in data science development processes.

**Nice to Have**s**:

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms beyond Snowflake (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and deployment strategies.
- Background in agile project management methodologies.
- Understanding of data governance and compliance practices.
