Production Coordinator

The role may include but is not limited to
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices and high-quality materials
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for production needs
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to forecast demand and plan production accordingly
- Oversee the entire supply chain process from purchasing to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient production schedules
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and take corrective actions when necessary
- Manage production costs and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement
- Lead and train the production teams to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company and industry regulations and standards
- Inputting data into our Inventory Management system and ensuring correct processing of inventory
- This function will be primarily work in an office setting and will be required to get involved in the factory from time to time

**Requirements**:

- Matric, relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing and production management role
- Understanding of procurement and production processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred

**Salary**: Up to R20,000.00 per month
