Job Title - District Coordinator x3 - Organisation Levels - mothers2mothers -> m2m South Africa -> Programmes - Location - Mbombela - Mbombela, ZA (Primary) - Type of position - Fixed Term Contract - Education - Degree - Closing Date - 17/6/2025 - Job Description **Key Performance Areas**: **District/Site Management** - Performance Monitoring and Improvement - Conduct on-site monitoring activities, virtual mentorship, and monthly quality improvement meetings, in line with m2m ACHIEVE’s minimum standards for supervision and mentorship processes. - Monitor relevant project data, compile and assess areas for quality/service improvement. - Liaise with SI team to assess performance and implement joint capacity building interventions for m2m staff and government partners, as required. **Stakeholder Engagement**: - Manage performance of the Case Coordinators and Family Mentors including work schedules, leave for all site staff, and performance appraisals. Liaise with Project manager/HR Officer to address site-level human resource issues. Facilitate and evaluate individual performance and training needs. - Oversee Case Coordinators and Family Mentors in development of weekly performance tracking, monthly reports and ensure quality reporting to project leadership contributing to donor deliverables **Implementation of m2m’s Integrated Service Platform** - Assist with the recruitment, orientation, and capacity building of site-level staff within specific Districts/sub districts - Manage effective project implementation at community level, ensuring quality service delivery to clients in line with m2m’s standards and practices - Conduct supportive supervision at site level - In conjunction with Project Manager develop and implement regional site management workplans - In conjunction with Linkage Officers build and maintain strong relationships with SocialDevelopment/Health facility staff and other implementing partners working in health facilities and the community, coordinating project implementation with other partners and identifying gaps and opportunities for project to contribute to improved health and wellbeing of orphaned and vulnerable children (OVC). - Participate in conducting weekly, monthly, quarterly feedback sessions with site staff and make recommendations for scaling up or replication of good practices across project sites **Project Coordination and Representation** - Represent project in District/sub districts (and Provincial, as required) fora including managing strategic relationships with key stakeholders at health facility and community level. Liaise with Department of Social/ Health and partners at district/sub district level to support and improve ACHIEVE project activities. - Conduct joint work planning with Project Manager, Community Service & Linkages Manager, and Linkage Officers to support coordination, sharing of learnings and best practices, and analysis of project performance to advance project strategy in line with the funder priorities. - Coordinate with ACHIEVE leadership and Case Coordinators to form a cohesive project team supporting optimal performance. **Performance Monitoring and Improvement**: - Conduct site-level supervision and monitoring activities, and hold weekly/monthly quality - improvement and performance monitoring meetings at site level - Supervise the implementation of site level data collection, timely reporting, interpretation and analysis - Liaise with site level data capturers on report production as requested, and routine reporting to project leadership in Mbombela - Compile and assess areas for quality/service improvement. Work closely with ACHIEVE leadership to develop and implement geo-location improvement plans, roll-out interventions to promote continued service integration, quality and effectiveness (where needed) - Liaise with ACHIEVE leadership to assess site performance and implement joint interventions as required - Conduct on-site capacity building of site staff and contribute to/facilitate trainings. - Participate in project management team meetings and quarterly reviews, reflecting on programme performance and make recommendations for improvement - Work closely with Project Manager and HR Officer and Programme to address human resource management issues and programme implementation and administration - Perform other duties as assigned by the project leadership - Job Requirements **Qualifications and Experience**: - Tertiary qualification or equivalent in public health, nursing sciences or social sciences - Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in community public health work, with at least two years’ in a supervisory role in the NGO setting. - Experience in project management and administration - Demonstrated knowledge of OVC/ECD/PMTCT/MNCH policy and working knowledge of relevant Departments of Health/Social Development protocols in South Africa/Mpumalanga - Clinical experience preferred - Experience in conducting on-site technical supervisio
