**Opportunity Available Our leading client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Learning and Development Specialist to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg (Sandton).**

- **Co-develop a learning strategy with HR Director**
***:

- **Implement, manage and report on that strategy**
***:

- **Select, develop, implement and manage a learning management system**
***:

- **Create, procure and curate learning material / content**
***:

- **Facilitate, teach and otherwise transfer skills to managers and employees**
***:

- **Administrate special projects**
***:

- **Develop PDP’s to promote succession and talent retention for the organisation**
***:

- **Ensure effective utilisation of the various business units’ budgets**
***:

- **Administrate training registers in preparation for annual training reporting**
***:

- **Collate information for annual quarterly reporting**
***:

- **Conduct induction and onboarding of new employees**
***:

- **Coordinate, and participate in Employment Equity forums**
***:

- **Provide advice and assistance on all aspects relating to Skills Development, including legislative matters such as employment equity (skills development planning), affirmative action, black economic empowerment and SETA requirements in line with skills development.**
***:

- **Ensuring that L&D interventions are prioritized according to the SETA’s Sector Skills Plans.**
***:

- **Act as liaison between employer and the SETA.**
***:

- **Co-Develop WSP and ATR + submission to SETA (under guidance from Human Capital Director)**
***

***

**Job Requirements**:
***
- **Tertiary Qualification in Education / Pedagogy or other relevant field**
***:

- **3- 5 years Teaching experience, preferably with adults (but high school teaching experience will suffice.)**
***:

- **Thorough L&D experience and deep knowledge of the regulatory and operating environment - preferred**
***:

- **Experience with both traditional and modern teaching methods i.e. mentoring, coaching, on-the-job training, classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.**
***:

- **Must be a registered SDF**
***:

- **Experienced at Facilitating grant payments and disbursement payments from W&RSETA**
***
